During this time I have decided to really invest in showcasing other local vendors around our area so here is one of the Winchester, Va wedding venues you should consider. I am fairly new to blogging so forgive me if this is not perfect but I am going to throw it back to last November for Jen and Eds wedding that took place on the first brisk Saturday of the fall.
6 pastures farm is tucked in Winchester, Virginia right down Apple Pie Ridge Road. It is a hidden gem that almost makes you forget you are only 10 minutes away from town . As soon as you drive up to the farm you go down their driveway and you’re immediately transported to another place. You see their modern/ rustic barn from a distance and if you’re lucky you’ll see some bovine friends grazing in the field.
I love that theres a different feel to this barn as soon as you walk in. It has a modern edge but also maintains that rustic feel. The venue owners, Paul and Mary are so kind and welcoming. They make sure you are taken care of as a client and as a vendor. I enjoyed seeing how invested they were in making sure the day ran smoothly.
It was so nice to have a variety of spaces to for getting ready and detail shots. The ladies had a whole house in which they had free rein. There was no lack of space so everyone could get together at the same location. There is plenty of space for makeup artists and hairdressers to do their thing with plenty of space. Every detail in the house is beautiful and fresh. It’s full of light spaces and also has a sort of minimalist feel.
From what I understand you have the option of renting the space for the weekend. So you can start getting stuff together ahead of time. Do not quote me on that haha but from what I understand you’re able to reserve the space for the weekend so you can bring stuff up and clean up with ease.
Another thing that is nice about 6 Pastures is that it has a getting ready space for the guys as well and it is completely separate from where the ladies are so theres not fear of running into each other while you’re getting ready. It really is a perfect set up!
You also have the option of having your ceremony inside or outside. Either way I don’t think you can go wrong. Outside you have incredible views from any direction and if you opt for an inside ceremony you have protection from the elements but still have an amazing view.
Aside from the incredible amenities theres so much variety of outdoor space where you can take portraits. You can go near the barn, on the hills or into the pastures. Paul was ready with the golf cart to take us around.
If you are looking for a venue in the Northern Virginia area that is away from all the noise but still want a modern rustic feel this is the place for you! About an hour and a half from Washington D.C. area. Under an hours away from Leesburg and surrounding areas. It has beautiful views and variety of space and locations for anything you may have dreamed up while planning.
Jennifer and Eds wedding was amazing because they had an amazing vendor with loving and caring owners who go the extra mile.
